Warning Column System
Aiming to address jaywalking at intersections, the pedestrian crossing safety reminder system uses integrated sound-and-light intervention and image analysis technologies to regulate pedestrian crossing behavior, fostering civilised travel habits among pedestrians and non-motorised vehicle riders. This effectively reduces traffic accident rates involving pedestrians and non-motorised vehicles at intersections.
When a pedestrian attempts to cross against a red light, the system first issues a voice prompt to stop at the crossing line. If the pedestrian ignores the warning, the system captures and records the jaywalking incident, and transmits facial recognition data to the electronic police system’s audit platform for real-time analysis and comparison.
