To address the frequent traffic accidents on highways at night, the transportation authorities have carried out a centralized upgrade of lighting and signal lights on all highway sections across the city.

The new lighting and signal lights feature enhanced penetration, with a visible distance of up to 500 meters under severe weather conditions such as heavy rain and dense fog.

The simultaneously launched automatic fault alarm system can report equipment abnormalities immediately, allowing operation and maintenance personnel to complete parameter adjustment remotely, which greatly shortens repair time.

The highway night-time accident rate has decreased by 22% month-on-month.
