Founded in 1998, Shanghai Austar Lighting Electrical Industry Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise integrating scientific and technological development, production and manufacturing, product sales, engineering project design, traffic lighting engineering, construction, and installation.
Austar's technology center has been recognized as a "Pudong New Area Enterprise Research and Development Institution". As an optical and electrical testing laboratory,it carries out the technical performance testing of various signal facilities products and various LED lighting fixtures. It has R&D capabilities for external lighting products, countdown traffic lights, LED display technology, traffic light optical lenses, electronic policing and semiconductor lighting technology. The company actively pays attention to and invests in the development and protection of independent intellectual property rights. We currently hold 6 invention patents and more than 70 utility model and design patents. A number of our products have been recognized as Shanghai high-tech achievement transformation projects. The "General Requirements for LED Indicators for Variable Lanes" drafted by the company has become the local standard in Shanghai, and "Illuminated Floor Tiles" has become the group standard for the Shanghai Municipal Highway Industry Association.
